Supported Employment provides individualized assistance for customers who may benefit from a higher level of support to obtain and maintain employment. Services are centered around the individual and may include assistance identifying appropriate employment opportunities, transitioning into a new position, learning workplace expectations, and developing the skills needed to succeed on the job.

As the customer develops confidence and stability, FGCS works with the customer, employer, and support team to encourage greater independence and strengthen natural workplace supports. Support is adjusted based on the customer's individual progress and employment needs.

This service is ideal for individuals who benefit from structured guidance, consistent encouragement, and a collaborative approach to workplace inclusion.

Work Experience Services provide customers with structured, short-term opportunities to gain experience in actual workplace environments. These experiences can help customers explore employment interests, strengthen workplace skills, build confidence, and better understand the expectations of employment.

FGCS works with the customer and worksite to support a meaningful experience based on the customer's individual goals and learning needs. Throughout the experience, customers have opportunities to practice workplace skills and receive support as they develop greater familiarity with a professional environment. 

These experiences serve as a valuable bridge between training and employment, empowering individuals to develop confidence, competence, and career clarity in a supportive environment.

Job Skills Training provides individualized, on-site support to help customers learn their job responsibilities, adjust to workplace expectations, and develop the skills necessary to perform successfully in their position.

Support is tailored to the individual and the demands of the job. Depending on the customer's needs, training may address job tasks, workplace routines, communication, organization, navigating the work environment, or other skills that contribute to successful employment. FGCS works alongside the customer while reinforcing employer expectations and encouraging the development of greater confidence and independence.

Rather than approaching the job search as a one-size-fits-all process, FGCS provides individualized assistance based on the customer's needs and employment objectives.

Customers may receive support throughout different stages of the employment process, from preparing to approach employers through interviewing and transitioning into employment. FGCS may also communicate and collaborate with employers to support appropriate employment opportunities and successful placement
